Scuttling punks Sniffany & the Nits release ‘Piggy Bank’, the new single from their upcoming album The Unscratchable Itch due this summer on PRAH Recordings. The band is fronted by Sniffany (who moonlights as inimitable illustrator JMKE, also responsible for the band’s creepy artwork) and shares DNA with fellow punks, Ex-Void, The Tubs and Estate Agents- all brilliant bands in their own right. On ‘Piggy Bank’ the band lose none of the intensity of their raucous live set, blasting through this (almost) 2 minute banger Sniffany finds herself in character “singing as a despised, misogynistic caricature” and referencing Sex and the City with characteristic venom. -Toby Evans-Jesra
