Slow Cooked has dropped his new single ‘Vest Poets’. His sound is a unique blend of his classical background with a harsh punk presentation. The first half of the track is fast-paced and intense, with unique production choices defining its sound. The second half switches pace entirely, turning into a ballad underscored by piano and cello, before a short return to chaos. He expands: “‘Surrounded on all sides by the sickly sincerity of online life coaches and artists, you boil with hatred and frustration until you realise you’re becoming the very thing you love to hate. A ballad wrapped up within a punk song.” Slow Cooked dropped his debut EP, Plastic Values, last April - check it out.
