‘Be Laurel’ is the new tune from Search Results. There’s a sense of freedom and movement in their music, with an energy that feels both chaotic and structured. ‘Be Laurel’ is built around a central, jangly acoustic guitar and a drifting, exploratory bass line. The vocal line is punchy and direct, moving from the almost shouted verses into a softer bridge, backed by a rounded synth countermelody. Search Results’ Fionn Brennan says the track is “a testament to my baby years and time spent with my wonderful granny, watching old movies and laughing our hearts out to Laurel and Hardy.” The band’s album, Go Mutant, is out on May 23rd, 2025. -Dan Peeke
