Prolific Canadian songwriter Sean Nicholas Savage has held a special place in our hearts for some time. Back with a beautifully impassioned new single 'Streets of Rage', Savage's raw vocal delivery and timeless ear for instrumentation makes for an intimate and uplifting listen. As ever, there's an unpredictable sense of whimsy in Savage's work, backed up by his explanation of the track: "Maybe this is saying, 'Rapunzel, don’t throw your hair down here. it’s bad down here. i’ll love you from a distance. I want you to be happy'". Taken from yet another full length release Shine, produced by Mac Demarco (marking more than 15), 'Streets of Rage' is classic SNS - pure, a little odd and certainly not boring.
