Scotland’s new music scene continues to delight as the team at First Run Records strike gold with Scarlett Randle. Hailing from the North East of the country and now based in Glasgow, she’s about to make her mark far and wide with new single ‘HER’. Recently named as the Scotsman’s Artist of the Week in association with the Association of Independent Music, Scarlett has already enjoyed spins of ‘HER’ on BBC Radio Scotland and Amazing Radio. The track brilliantly showcases Scarlett’s effortlessly mesmerising and smooth vocals, against a tempo-less, dreamy sparkling wash of delicately plucked guitar and swelling synths. ‘HER’, somehow both achingly wistful and charmingly positive all at the same time, is a timeless, atmospheric pop gem to dive into and swim around in to your heart’s content. Local press have described Scarlett’s live performances as “superb”, offering “if you see her name, you should jump at the chance to see her” (MNPR Magazine).
