Oslo-based producer, songwriter and vocalist Sassy 009 has returned with ‘Tell Me’. It’s a smouldering piece that fuses grungy guitars with the instantly recognisable voice of Dev Hynes. The track feels both intimate and cinematic, while finding a middle ground between the melancholy haze of its shoegaze influences, and the ultra-modernism of its hyperpop production. Sunniva Lindgård explains: “This song has been sitting with me for a few years. It all started with a particular mood but I couldn’t quite seem to finish the song. I had the idea to send it over to Dev. I’ve been waiting for the moment for us to make a song together ever since we met in Amsterdam back in 2019, and I really couldn’t hear anyone else but him on it. So happy I followed my gut.” ‘Tell Me’ is the second single from her forthcoming debut album Dreamer+, which is due to release on January 16th, 2026. -Dan Peeke
