This dark, twisting release from sanjaux marries heavily edited vocals, synths and percussion with perfectly balanced orchestral elements. With detuned melodic lines creating a sense of unease, and seemingly infinite build-ups providing tension throughout, ‘Trinity’ releases around halfway through, taking us into a crunchy, deep section full of dark, harsh bass sounds. The ambitious track has already garnered a lot of high profile attention, with (to the delight of sanjaux himself) producer Porter Robinson commenting that “this song is fantastic. My hope for the future is that the electronic music scene will keep elevating creative stuff like this”. -Dan Peeke
