Just days before dropping her debut LP, The Baby (August 28^th, 2020), Samia has released the final teaser single, ‘Triptych’. Musically, the opening moments are driven by acoustic guitar and luscious falsetto melodies, before exploding out into dreamy indie rock, with moments of metal-esque heaviness. Samia explains that the track came after she “had just been through a pretty tough breakup and felt I might be purposefully getting myself into dicey situations to justify my big feelings and write about them. ‘Triptych’ was a pretty blatant cry for help and an opportunity to confess my fear of being misunderstood.” The video that comes with the track is both emotionally charged, and downright creepy. -Dan Peeke
