Heavenly Recordings-backed duo Revival Season have thrown down the gauntlet with their memorable new single 'Chop'. Following their contagious debut 'Iron Warrior' last year, the Atlanta-based partnership of rapper BEZ (pronounced "be easy") and founding member of Mattiel, Jonah Swilley, appear to be focussing on quality over quantity. Entirely worth the wait, 'Chop' is an explosive effort that pairs eerie, melodic synths with reverb-kissed beats and quick-fire lyricism, reminiscent of A Tribe Called Quest.
