'World Breaker' is the vinyl B-side to ‘Rodeo’, the debut single from New York’s QTY - Dan Lardner and Alex Niemetz - out 16 December via Dirty Hit. With a languid, punky aesthetic, it's a track that nods back to the work of Velvet Underground and Nico, thanks in particular to the call and response, male-female vocal work and the slow-burning, crunchy, lo-fi sound. Described as the "more desperate side" of Lardner's experiences of the city, 'World Breaker' appears as the second taste of what the duo is capable of and is set to win-over an increasing number of hearts as we move into 2017. -G.O'B
