‘Post-Punk / New-Wave’ is the new single from London-based four-piece Pynch. The track is an ironic-yet-sincere take on making DIY music in the modern world, with their trademark playfulness blending with a lo-fi aesthetic and a genuine gift for a hook. It’s a unique track in its ability to build toward its huge climax, without ever really indulging us in a true chorus. On the track’s music video, they say: “Macgregor did an amazing job of matching the energy of the song in the video. There are a couple of film references in there and I think the final sequence is the best thing we've shot as a band.” The quartet have also announced their new album, Beautiful Noise, which drops on October 3rd, 2025, via Chilburn Records. -Dan Peeke
