London-based duo, O., have dropped their huge new single, ‘Green Shirt’. The band, made up of baritone saxophonist Joe Henwood and drummer Tash Keary, have forged an incredibly unique sound that ranges from intricate jazz and jungle breakbeats, to huge drops and doom metal breakdowns. This new single is certainly on the heavy end of the spectrum, with manic drums underpinning the screech of twisting and turning saxophone riffs. “To match the distorted amp sounds coming from Joe, we put Tash's drums through distorted guitar amps on this one,” the pair explain. “It's named after Tash's favourite green flannel shirt, that was lost several times and then eaten by a dog.” The band are signed to legendary label Speedy Wunderground and are releasing their debut album, WeirdOs, on June 21st, 2024. -Dan Peeke
