Appearing via Scenic Route's new compilation Road Less Travelled Vol.2 alongside contributions from Max Winter, Nourished by Time & many more, South London-based alternative hip hop collective Nukuluk share their incredible new track 'Shadowplay'. Created during a brief stint at their Bermondsey studio (before getting kicked out due to noise complaints), 'Shadowplay' is dark, experimental, warped, unhinged and everything in between. Guided by an ominous overblown bass line, fizzy beats flicker around vocalist Monika's instantly recognisable flow and unique lyricism. Guitarist, vocalist and producer Syd adds a contrasting spookiness delivering laid back lines that break up the intensity of 'Shadowplay's ambitious and eclectic energy.
