Brighton-based avant-pop artist Nina Kohour has released her new single, ‘Flavoured & Eaten’. It’s a mesmerising track from its first seconds, with a cinematic soundscape supporting her airy vocal. Things quickly change pace, however, and we are plunged into a world full of acrobatic, playful singing and brash saxophone breaks. The phenomenal production supports the track's impressive rise towards its complex, densely layered climax. The track is about “a one-sided toxic dependence in a relationship, accompanied by an even more profound mutual self-denial.
