NAYA LOST FOR WORDS

On first listen new London vocalist Naya's 'Lost For Words' comes off a little rough around the edges, but rather than sounding unpolished, it actually allows her charms to shine through. Drawing on the likes of Shura and Blood Orange for 80s inspiration, Naya uses sunburst synths, infectious 808 volleys and grooving bass to great effect, layering them all together and topping it with her own sensitive, adoring vocal. She wrote the song about finding new romance almost too soon after a messy breakup - now it's your turn to fall in love. - DC
