‘Modern Man’ is the new single from Speedy Wunderground signees MORN. The South Wales newcomers have crafted an urgent-yet-doomy sound that sits somewhere between punk and metal at times, and noisy indie at others. There is a sense of experimentalism weaving throughout their sound, with spiky guitars and a grating fuzz contributing to a uniquely ferocious sonic palette, topped with nihilistic gang vocals. The track “came from the wild urgency of our lives. Born from teenage riffs, shaped by laughter, anger, and fear.
