Following her debut EP, which arrived last year, Norwegian alt-pop artist Mia Berg’s latest offering will be the first taste of her next EP release, which is due to arrive later in 2020. Berg’s newest single ‘don’t know (what to do)’ opens with a dizzying array of orchestral and electronic instruments which reflects the confusion of indecision at the heart of this soulful song. Much of the song is centered around the singer’s lustrous, laidback vocals which match perfectly to the serene and shuffling soundscape. Produced alongside Henrik Lillehaug with mixing and mastering by Matias Tellez, the sound quality is both lofi and crystal clear; with those moments of brightness rubbing up against the intimate warmth of those hazier recordings. - Hannah Thacker   [Photo credit: Isak Anderson]
