It's been nine months since New York outfit Me Not You made their online debut with ‘Bulletproof’, and today they’ve released their first EP, Reckoning 1. One stand-out new addition has to be ‘These Streets’. A ricochet of reverb-heavy guitar and collapsing drum beats against a backdrop of urban life introduces the latest track from the alt-rock duo. ‘These Streets’ smacks strongly of Metric’s Fantasies and Blood Red Shoes’ Box Of Secrets, through its punchy rhythms, dreamy pop melody, organised burst of wild rock, and a femme fatale vocal leading the charge.
