Following up 2019's Satis Factory, Heavenly-signed Atlanta outfit Mattiel have returned with an uplifting new single. Characterised, as always, by songwriter and vocalist Mattiel Brown's powerful vocal delivery, 'Those Words' is an infectious rejection of unwanted opinions. Sharing her experience of learning how to focus her energy in way that serves her instead of everyone else, it's a message that we can probably all take something from. Musically, 'Those Words' feels airy and upbeat, evoking imagery of driving around on a summer evening with the windows down.
