‘Seconds To Love’ is Matt-Felix’s fiercest anthem yet. It’s a short, sharp shock of a track that is in and out before you realise it’s started. Bouncy keyboards underpin its first few seconds, before it bursts into a thicker and heavier texture than we’ve seen Matt-Felix experiment with before. “I wrote it all on the piano one morning and demoed it the same day,” he says. “The structure and production is pretty much all the same from that first burst of inspiration. I went in with Josh Tyrell and recorded it; he also mixed it. We got Rob Hall to play drums, and there you go.” His sophomore EP, Dark Enough To See, is out now, and his final live show of the year takes place at The Shacklewell Arms on December 11th, 2025. -Dan Peeke
