Taken from Magic Potion’s second LP Endless Graffiti, ‘Foamy Lace’ is a hazy journey through the jangling guitar work and distant vocals that create the band’s unique “full throttle brain juice pop music”. Lyrically, The Beatles can be found lingering throughout the track, with the very Beatles-esque line "nothing is real, nothing’s right" standing out against the slightly out of tune rhythm instruments and sudden, harsh changes of section, that reflect their musical influence. The Swedish band are even bringing their strange, yet oddly addictive brand of pop to England for a short tour this November. - Dan Peeke
