Nottingham-based soul-pop artist LYVIA has revealed her new track, ‘Little White Lie’. The single evokes mid-2000s R&B in its earworm chorus, delicate basslines and glittery arpeggios. She lets the track burst out of its shell during bursts of thunderous texture and her own switches between staccato singing and effortless melodic runs. On turning her passion for spoken word into a career, she says: “I grew up writing with my best mates... I was this shy girl watching these incredibly confident boys rap about their lives.
