Having released their intricate concept album Wasteland: What Ails Our People Is Clear during deep winter lockdown, LICE are stepping out with a final single from the record and a reimagined B-side. Accompanied by some well-suited visuals directed & animated by Tasha Lizak, 'Persuader' is one of Wasteland's most hypnotic moments. Giving some insight to the concept behind the video Lizak explains: “The video is framed around the concept of a(n) research/experiment centred around the decoding and destruction of mankind. Constructing and deconstructing a biomechanics ‘man’, the video follows a process of analysis and decoding." Cleverly taking the opportunity to decode their own tune, 'Mediator' is a metamorphosed version of 'Persuader', which takes a far more experimental approach.
