New York duo Lewis Del Mar posted their debut track yesterday, and even though their look and feel seems low-key - no names are mentioned, they don't feature in the press shots etc. - they've already made a big impact. Twenty-four hours in and 'Loud(y)' has picked up parallels with Alt-J's wonky pop stylings as well as Everything Everything's motormouth indie catchiness. True, it's a twisting, turning enigma of a track, but there's a warm, sexy humanity to it beneath the abstract instrumentation. These guys have our attention, whoever they are. - DC
