German-American indie-punk quintet LAWN CHAIR have shared their new single, ‘Waste Your Potential!’. It’s a jagged, crunchy cut that fills your ears with buzzsaw guitars and wobbly, distorted synth sounds, supported by thick bass and a motorik drum pattern. Front-woman Claudia Shulutius’ voice sits above, delivering an effortlessly cool blend of memorable melodies in the chorus, and semi-spoken vocals in the verses. The band’s album, YOU WANT IT! YOU GOT IT! drops on September 5th, 2025. They explain: “It’s eclectic but cohesive and I feel like we really found our style with the album.
