A smooth bass groove sets the mood, sliding effortlessly up, down and across the frets, as sparse, reverb-kissed guitar parts glimmer in the distance and both Lava and Biig Piig's hazy vocals take turns. Lyrically examining the strange sort of morbid addiction of being in a toxic relationship Lava explains: “('Don't Come Back is about') being in a relationship where you know that person isn’t good for you. But you can’t help but go back and forth with them.
