‘honeymoon suite’ is the new single from London/Barcelona-based artist LALA HAYDEN. The track is a twisting piece of electronic pop that lures you in with bouncy, sugary synth sounds, but keeps your attention with a subtly sinister performance. Her voice is sweet and almost lullaby-esque at points, but moments of darkness and dissonance add something unpredictable to the vibe. She explains that the track was “inspired by a night at a casino hotel in Palm Springs. There was so much to see but I was so anxious that all I wanted to do was hide inside the suite with my love. I feel like I've been addicted to the honeymoon phase where everything is light because I was running away from the darkness inside.
