Bristol-based rock trio Krooked Tongue have returned with a fantastic video and single, ‘Backseat Therapy’. It’s filled with melodic hooks and vocal swagger, with the trademark sounds of punchy bass, searing guitar and thunderous drums, crafting a thick texture beneath. On the background of the video, the band say: “Oli had a general idea of the aesthetic of the video and how it would match up to his lyrics, but we didn’t want to go with the obvious nature of the story, we wanted to do something fun and different to the stand out notion of the song itself. That’s where the kidnap the drummer idea sprung up.” The track is taken from their EP, Deathrpoof, which has already achieved critical acclaim. -Dan Peeke
