JUST MUSTARD POLLYANNA

Bursting back on to the scene with their first new music in 3 years, noisy Irish shoegazers Just Mustard return with 'POLLYANNA'. With the title serving as a hypothetical pseudonym for an excessively positive or optimistic person, the instrumentation on 'POLLYANNA' is contrastingly gloomy (in a good way). Rampant drums keep an onslaught of effected guitars in check, as vocalist Katie Ball words call out like a siren lost at sea. Adding to the intentional claustrophobia of it all, the single comes with an Orwellian accompanying video. Ball explains: “We shot the video using different CCTV and VHS cameras around our hometown Dundalk trying to have as much fun as possible, the kind of fun that makes you feel sick almost instantly, which suits the themes of the song”.
