‘Strong Enough’ comes from the impressively diverse compositional mind of Jude The Obscure. Musically, the track is tough to describe: a marching snare pattern kicks things off as though we’re about to parade into battle, before delicate electric guitar patterns guide us into indie-pop territory; brass harks back to the golden age of pop songwriting, just as Jude’s British twang finds its way through the textures equipped with powerful lyricism. The track is propelled forward by the idea of disillusion. “I'm especially proud of this tune,” he explains. “really feel the music captured the message I was trying to get across on this one. The rhythm section maintains this aggressive, punchy feel throughout, giving the perfect underlay for an energised, driven vocal.
