Prolific South London-based producer Joseph Futak steps out for himself with the release of his debut album Walking The Sea Wall. Encouraged by its final single 'Light of Day', Futak explains: "Making my own music often feels weird and is something I felt very disconnected from for a long time, but making these songs felt like rediscovering it in the best possible way and it's my fave thing I've ever made I reckon!" Sonically tender and laid back, 'Light of Day' feels earnest and unpretentious, focussing on ambience and uncomplicated lyricism. Much like the rest of the album, mood is king, drawing you in with its mellow, melancholy and ultimately comforting soundscape.
