To say we've been waiting for this moment for a while would be an understatement as left-field electronic pop duo Jockstrap announce their debut album I Love You Jennifer B. Already shaping up to be a belter with 2 phenomenal previous singles '50/50' and 'Concrete Over Water' making an appearance on the track listing, new offering 'Glasgow' shows yet another side of the duo's songwriting style. Taking a recognisably more indie, guitar-lead approach than that of their avant-garde synth songs, Georgia Ellery's unusual vocal melodies lead the lighthearted instrumentation. As ever, Taylor Skye's production is immersive and interesting, fusing fascinating electronic sounds and effects with the ever-so-slightly more conventional soundtrack. Arriving alongside a self-directed video, edited by Ellery herself, 'Glasgow' is an authentic taste of exciting things to come from Jockstrap.
