Jessica Wilde’s take on UK R&B is refreshingly personal. ‘Body’ is a tribute to self-love and empowerment as she leaves behind the role that society gives her. While writing the track, she pondered: “Why did I keep attracting these guys who only seemed to care how my body could please them? Why don’t I celebrate my body instead of looking to them to validate me?”.
