JANE REMOVER ROYAL BLUE WALLS
Jane Remover (formerly known as DLTSK) announces a name change and releases new 6-minute woozy bedroom emo epic 'Royal Blue Walls'. Following on from last years album Frailty, the new track marks the start of a new era for the artist, musically the track is a natural continuation of their sound, perhaps with a little less hyper pop elements to the production. The sprawling track incorporates a number of different genres from shoegaze, alt-rock, emo and the bedroom style production that is similar to artists like Weatherday and Asian Glow. The progression of the project seems to be a personal one and the name change a necessary adaptation for the artist to be able to express themselves. In a statement Jane discusses the name change:"dltzk reminds me of a period of my life I’d like to move past, and I hope you all understand my reasoning as to why I’m dropping it. I’ve spent enough time facing bigotry in my life, from the closest people in my life to even my own fans. I know, for a fact, who I am and what I stand for. Just so everyone is in the loop now, and I don’t have to keep beating around the bush: my name is Jane, from now on I make music as Jane Remover, and that’s all there is to it." -Toby Evans-Jesra
