'Prior Things' is the new single from Hop Along. Appearing ahead of the release of their forthcoming Bark Your Head Off, Dog album, which is due 6 April via Saddle Creek, it is another beautifully composed indie outing from the Philadelphia four-piece. The track saunters between brilliantly jagged, guitar-punctuated verses and warm, bucolic moments with its hypnotic string section, which whisks away to a fairy-tale conclusion. Prior things have been great from Hop Along, but this new collection feels set to be their most impressive and complete to date. -George O'Brien
