Rising North London artist Hohnen Ford has shared her newest single, ‘Another Lifetime’. It’s a beautiful single filled with cascading piano lines akin to Tori Amos, supporting her tender, melodic voice which delivers poignant, heartfelt lyrics. “Some loves you have to let pass you by,” she explains. “Maybe you’re from different generations and you’re on the cusp of having romantic feelings, or maybe you’re in two different cities but don’t ever quite line up.” She has reinvigorated classic pop with a modern twist, blending her love of the greats such as Joni Mitchell with a true understanding of current music. This is just her second single since her 2022 debut EP, Infinity, which was lauded by the likes of Jamie Cullum and Tom Misch. Check it out. -Dan Peeke
