HINAKO OMORI BANK OF INNER CRITICISMS

Japanese musician Hinako Omori might be better recognised as the ridiculously talented synth player in a number of sensational acts' live bands, including Georgia and Kate Tempest, to name a few. Her brand new solo offering 'Bank Of Inner Criticisms' is a profoundly expressive slice of delicate electronica that sees the artist at her creative best. Interacting in a glistening sonic spiderweb, intricate arpeggiators ascend weightlessly above growly sub-bass, leaving plenty of space for Omori's otherworldly vocals to take steal the show. Arriving courtesy of self-described avant-ambient indie label Injazero Records, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more competent cuts from this criminally underrated experimentalist. -Holly Mullineaux
