Hannah Jadagu is about to release her debut album, Aperture, via Sub Pop. The final single from the album, ‘Lose’, might just be her best track yet. She keeps you guessing throughout the track, with the initial hit of pop melodies subsiding as groovy drum patterns, thick synth textures and bursts of instrumental weirdness add unique layers to proceedings. Her songwriting style has developed since her DIY beginnings and continues to move to new heights.
