Bordering on the experimental, Felix Leifur takes dissonant chords and unsettling sounds and combines them to form this classic track, reworked in celebration of his upcoming Hamburg 3011 EP. The piece builds into a hugely unnerving disco-style section, with funky slap bass contrasting the devilishly gritty vocal line that fades in and out. ‘Chicago’ really is an endearing release, and this reworking has only increased its sonic prowess.
