The New York-based soul group El Michels Affair have released their fourth single, 'Ala Vida', from their forthcoming album Yeti Season, out on Big Crown Records March 26th. Following on from the first three singles that feature Piya Malik's winding Hindi vocals, the new single 'Ala Vida' is a taste of classic El Michels Affair. Piano runs that burst like a firework display open the song, followed by a locked in melody and groove played by strings, bass, guitar and drums. The sparkly piano continues to burst over this groove, alongside triumphant brass. Entirely instrumental, 'Ala Vida' paints a spring-like joy, bursting with life. -Ellie Rose-Davies
