A name that's been hot on the lips of those in the know for a little while, mysterious London trio Ebbb announce their signing to Ninja Tune with stunning double A-sides 'Himmel' and 'Swarm'. Taking a closer look at the former, 'Himmel' is guided by ethereal vocals, bolstered by close cut harmonies reminiscent of Animal Collective or Fleet Foxes. Instrumentally cutting edge, otherworldly synthesizers swell organically on the outskirts of the mix before an absolutely rapid beat unexpectedly kicks in. Rumbling at the bottom end, like a heartbeat going 100 miles an hour, it's a production choice that pushes the track in an entirely different direction than first anticipated. Ebbb's debut EP All At Once will be released on the 14th of June, and if these singles are anything to go by, it's going to be a special one. -Holly Mullineaux
