Yowling around a suburbia of novelty owl statues and moderately-priced pints, Don’t Worry somehow bring a slab of Stateside emo sensibility to their Essex-based wares. Their latest, ‘Big House’ whirls its way around multiple roundabouts (seventeen, to be more precise), miserable New Years Eves, and an ill-fated trip to Paris, dredging up old regrets along the way. It’s a hugely promising taster of their forthcoming debut album ‘Who Cares Anyway?', out on 22nd June on Bristol label Specialist Subject. - El Hunt
