A long standing favourite here at TMR, London-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Donna Thompson announces her new EP with its glistening first listen 'Gardener St'. Originally written for a short film, 'Gardner St' will appear alongside 6 other sonic gems on What In The World?!?, which is set for release on the 21st of November via PRAH Recordings. Meditative and full of intension, Thompson develops intricate layers of instrumentation beneath spoken-word-style vocals, which spill out effortlessly. Carefully considering her surroundings, Thompson notes 'so much has happened before I've even had the chance to say good morning' - a feeling that we can probably all relate to.
