DELILUH FREELOADER FEAST
Coming from an impressive pedigree of Canadian post-punk outfits including Ought, Preoccupations and the more recently popular Crack Cloud, experimental quartet Deliluh might just be the next ones to break. Their alliterative new single 'Freeloader Feast', is a wiry take on the traditionally brooding genre, which plays out like a neurotic stream-of-consciousness as the thundering drums keep tempo. Layering up its individually simplistic elements, abrasive guitars respond to the taunting bass undercurrent, getting gradually more intense as the track develops. As the first taste of Deliluh's forthcoming mini album Oath Of Intent (set for release on May 3rd via Tin Angel and Telephone Explosion), 'Freeloader Feast' has left us hungry for more. -Holly Mullineaux
