‘I Know, I Know’ is the new single from American singer-songwriter Dekker. Despite its melancholy core, the track is uplifting and catchy, with an impulsive beat running through it that bounces off of his glossy vocals. These vocals are, as they always are with Dekker, the centrepiece of the track, with his heart-on-sleeve lyrics telling an ill-fated, self-destructive love story: ‘I know I’m a mess and I’ve lost my key, but please don’t let me go, because with you is where I need to be.’ Dekker’s new album, Future Ghosts, is being released on February 16th, 2024. -Dan Peeke
