COLE PULICE AFTER THE RAIN
Relatively fresh on our radar, electroacoustic saxophonist and composer Cole Pulice has emerged as an integral figure to experimentally-inclined circles in the States. Announcing their new album Land’s End Eternal with its beautifully ambient introduction 'After The Rain', it feels like the Minneapolis-raised musician's time to shine brighter than ever before. The leisurely 9-minute masterpiece features the unmistakable tones of Maria BC, who lends choral backing vocals to Pulice's free-flowing musings. Fleshed out by electric guitar (which was a new endeavour and vital to the creation of the album), Pulice explains:“I’ve always loved the electric guitar but never owned one, so it quickly became an important part of my daily music routine and explorations, and ultimately a compositional centerpiece for the work on Land’s End Eternal.” Lose yourself in 'After The Rain' as we await more from this refreshing and unique talent. -Holly Mullineaux
