chlothegod has released her new single, ‘My GF H8s Me’. It’s a glitchy, jittery track that cleverly blends the tenderness of acoustic guitar with slightly distorted drums and slowly building, almost industrial-sounding synths. These textures underpin her voice, which is also treated with slight distortion and jumps between poignance and humour. chlothegod is dropping her new EP, I Feel Different Every Day, on January 17th, 2025, via EQT Recordings. On the EP, she says: “It's the first time that I've ever been able to scream that loud, both metaphorically and literally... I was able to experiment with my own voice, along with the words I said — the things that I meant when I said them.
