Genre-bender Chiiild has dropped his latest single, ‘Bon Voyage’. It’s a stripped-back song that fills your headphones with a dreamy reverb. Subtle electric guitar chords and kaleidoscopic vocal samples are enough to form the perfect accompaniment for his melodic voice, but the track still explodes into life with the delicately constructed textures of the chorus. It’s the first taste of his new album, Better Luck In The Next Life. He says: “My aim with Better Luck In The Next Life is to give you a look inside my mind. Into the doubts & fears, ambitions and a few connections along the way. It was a form of healing putting these real situations into songs.
