Electronic artist break_fold has revealed his new single, ‘Gadgie’. He has developed his output into something darker and more uncompromising with this new cut. It retains his signature atmospheric, glitchy sound, but propels it forward with a driving bass line and tight, crisp snare patterns. He says: “‘Gadgie’ is a colloquial North Eastern word for a person, usually a man, you don’t know and probably would avoid. The song title has little connection to the track itself, but it felt like it really fit the mood.” Break_fold has also announced his new EP, Planner EP, which is set for release on November 14th, 2025, on analog horizons via Launchpad+ & EMI North. -Dan Peeke
