Having pricked up ears on both BBC 6 Music and Radio 1, Bristol band BOA are a trio that come highly recommended. Announcing their debut EP for May via indie label Hand In Hive, 'Right Time Right Place' is the second single and best shows off the band's penchant for poppy vocals and synthesized beats. A slow burner, the song unfurls softly into a shimmering haze of guitars and harmonics, making for dreamy anthemic listening. With the band having collaborated with Geoff Swann, who brought us Ed Sheeran and Jess Glyne songs, it is no wonder that BOA successfully straddle electronic, pop and indie. With the hype steadily building, we don't think BOA should be constricted to any genre. -SJ
